Mailboxes
A real address for your mail
A private mailbox at Mail Post Company gives you a real street address in Garland, not a P.O. box. That means every carrier can deliver to you, your packages wait safely with us instead of on your porch (we email you when one arrives), and your home address stays private. It's a great fit for small businesses, people who travel or move often, and anyone tired of missing deliveries.

Package notification by email
An email as soon as we check one in, with the carrier and the end of the tracking number, and a reminder if it's still waiting.
Renew online or in store
We email you before it's due. Pay from that email, log in to your account, or renew at the counter.
Getting your mail
Mail goes into your box once a day, around 5 pm, and you open it with your own key during business hours. We hold your packages at the counter until you pick them up, and anyone authorized on your account, or with your key, can pick up. For business or personal use.
What to bring to sign up
The Postal Service requires every mailbox holder to fill out PS Form 1583, and we'll do it with you at the counter. Bring two current IDs: one with your photo, and one that shows your home address. Everyone who will receive mail at your box needs their own two.
1. A photo ID
- U.S. driver's license or state ID card
- U.S. passport or foreign passport
- U.S. Permanent Resident Card
- Certificate of Naturalization
- Matrícula Consular
- Uniformed Service ID
- U.S. Access Card
- U.S. university ID card
- NEXUS card
2. Proof of home address
- U.S. driver's license or state ID card (if not used as your photo ID)
- Current lease
- Home or vehicle insurance policy
- Mortgage or deed of trust
- Vehicle registration card
- Voter card
A driver's license or state ID can count as only one of the two, not both. Signing up a business? An officer of the company signs the form and lists everyone who will receive mail.
